The Last Dinner Party – YNOT

A new discovery for me, The Last Dinner Party made an unforgettable impression at the Big Gin Festival, drawing an impressive crowd – no surprise, given their spot as subheadliners. Fresh off their Brit Award win, the band took to the stage with theatrical flair and commanding presence. Frontwoman Abigail Morris set the tone immediately, sweeping onto the stage in a dramatic floor-length black trench coat. The coat was soon cast aside to reveal a stunning white dress, perfectly capturing the band’s signature blend of drama and elegance. The set was a dynamic mix of old favorites and thrilling new material. Fans were treated to the live debut of Agnus Dei, a powerful and haunting new track that showcased the band’s evolving sound. Burn Alive delivered a raw, electrifying energy, while Nothing Matters brought the crowd together in euphoric, full-throated singalong. The Last Dinner Party proved they’re more than just rising stars – they’re a band fully stepping into their moment, with a live show as captivating as their studio work. I walked away a fan.
