Seb Lowe played Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on 2-12-25 as part of the mostly sold out headline tour with his band Kate Couriel (violin) and Joel Goodwin (drums)
Seb Lowe’s growing songbook uses melodic indie as the soundbed for songs which use probing wit and dark humour to address zeitgeist issues ranging from social injustice to politics and sexism. Those songs are connecting with an ever-growing audience on two fronts: with an attention-grabbing social media presence which has attracted almost 13 million likes on TikTok, and live shows in which his charisma is as compelling as his intense performances.

Opening with Here Come The Aliens, Seb held the crowd in the palm of his hand. Then it was straight into Jump Scare and Kill Him (he’s a Socialist) where Seb jumped down from the stage to the barrier, much to the delight of the front row. At times it was hard to hear Seb singing, not because of the venue sound (it was perfect), but the shear noise from the audience, singing along and jumping around.
