The country pop band have spent years performing across the world and even appeared on The Voice UK as a way to kickstart their career. Singers Charlotte Steele, Lauren Byrne and Holly-Anne Hull make up the band Remember Monday. The girls all met at sixth form and share a close bond outside of the band. In 2023 the trio decided to leave their jobs and focus on Remember Monday full-time
Before today, all I knew about remember Monday was that they were in Eurovision. That’s it. But boy can they sing! They also have a sense of humour. They introduced one song by saying that they had been friends for years and they used to pretend to be other people on nights out. One would be the daughter of a rich man from America, another was from Australia and had been in a shark attack, that’s why she was wearing jeans. The last was from Liverpool. The song ‘Attention’ itself has catchy lyrics that were very clever, while ‘Happier’ has the wonderful line “You said we should stay friends at the end, Well, I’d rather break both of my legs”
